Mechanism of action: Adipozon  has been developed to increase the lipolysis of adipocytes by hydrolyzing lipid triglycerides, and releasing fatty acids and glycerol. Applied for localized fat reduction, body modeling, and cellulite reduction. The result is a decrease in the volume of the treated areas.

For optimal results, a series of 3 – 10 treatments is recommended.

 Pressure therapy and lymphatic drainage

Pressure Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Pressure therapy and lymphatic drainage with the Lympha Press Plus apparatus (MADE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION) is a procedure that is applied to dispose of excess weight and cellulite.

During the pressure therapy procedure, the compressed air that comes via special cuffs influences the lymphatic system, which removes the excess accumulated liquid from the human organism.

It activates exchange processes in fat cells and skin cells, with improving venous circulation, recovering clear intracellular and intercellular water. As a result, vascular walls are toned and puffiness is removed.

The pressure therapy procedure helps to perform the active lymphatic drainage, removing stagnant products, excess liquid, toxins, poisons, products of the decomposition of fat cells from the organism.

The pressure therapy procedure is painless.

Lympha Press Plus is an effective equipment intended for consecutive compression therapy, which has a 12-chamber gradient.

Operating modes of the apparatus for the pressure therapy and lymphatic drainage with Lympha Press Plus:

  • Pretherapy (preparation). Patented technology based on especially careful, manual lymphatic drainage. In this mode, the patient’s lymphatic system is prepared for intensive loading. The stage consists in the maximum discharge of the peripheral lymphatic system, in opening large lymph nodes. It eliminates obstacles for the lymph drain, increases effectiveness of subsequent cycles.
  • Lympha (main mode). It is the most effective in case of hand and foot edema. Massage movements go from the farthest point to the center, for example, from toe tips to the body, the area of the groin. The necessary pressure is created in each chamber one after another, with reducing the pressure by 1 mm Hg in each next chamber. That is from the first chamber to the last one, the pressure force and duration are slowly decreasing, a necessary pressure gradient is formed (from the periphery to the center).
  • Gradient12 (main expanded). The most effective mode in case of an edema. It combines the benefit of Lympha and the feature to operate with a large pressure. The mode allows to set a high pressure at the level of the toes (100 mm Hg or more), and to decrease it in the groin and the stomach down to 40 mm Hg.
  • Wave. This mode is the most effective in case of venous insufficiency and easy forms of the hand and foot edema, including the postoperative and posttraumatic ones. Perfectly takes off the weariness of foots at the end of the day and after physical load, by means of soft wave-like pressure. It is effective even in case of the severe forms of varicose veins of lower extremities complicated with trophic ulcers and also as the prevention of complications for slow-moving debilitated patients.
  • Balancer. Quick and soft waves of the pressure in this mode perfectly relax the body. Gentle surface lymphatic drainage massage positively influences microcirculation in lymphatic and venous vessels, removes psychoemotional stress, improves the falling asleep and sleeping. During this mode, many patients relax and fall asleep.

Effect of the pressure therapy procedure:

The pressure therapy allows to get rid of various forms of edema, substantially reduce the body’s volume. It helps patients to effectively fight against any manifestation of cellulite, against various stages of obesity as well as is very effective for the prevention of such disease as varicosity.

Results from the pressure therapy procedure:

  • Disposal of cellulite, improvement of elasticity and resilience of the skin;
  • Beneficial influence on the condition of the skin, subcutaneous fat;
  • Disposal of edema of various origins as well as considerable reduction of the body’s volume.
  • Normalization of the moisture balance, removing toxins and excess liquid from the organism;
  • Prevention and treatment of varicosity, because the method has expressed vasodilatory and spasmolytic effect;
  • Increase in resistance to stress and in immunity, improvement of mood
  • Figure correction

The pressure therapy procedure is combined with various cosmetic procedures the main orientation of which is the elimination of imperfection and the figure correction.

Indications to the procedure:

  • Cellulite
  • Excess weight
  • Local fatty deposits
  • Skin laxity
  • Feeling of weight in extremities
  • Excessive puffiness, irrespective of reasons of its origin
  • Feeling of excessive muscle strain
  • Chronic venous insufficiency
  • Need for rehabilitation after operations

Contraindications to the procedure:

  • Pregnancy
  • Renal failure
  • Malignant neoplasms
  • Diabetes mellitus and disease of small and large vessels
  • Skin diseases
  • First days of menstrual cycle
  • II degree cardiac insufficiency
  • Unstable angina
  • Ciliary arrhythmia
  • Acute heart failure
  • Postinfarction states
  • Venous thrombosis of lower extremities.

The recommended course consists of 5-10 procedures, which are performed with the periodicity of 2-3 times a week.
Duration is from 60 min.

Important

An important prerequisite for pressure therapy is compliance with hygiene rules.

Prior to the procedure, the patient should always wear special disposable panties, and only after that the specialist will put the patient in pressure therapy pants and the procedure may begin. Adherence to the rules and regulations of hygiene procedures is an important condition to prevent the development and spread of infectious diseases.

Sauna, Body Scrub and Body Wrap Treatments

How to use a sauna?

If, you’re sharing your sauna experience with other people (such as at the Spa), there are important do’s and don’ts you should abide by. These include:

  • Take a quick, post-workout shower prior to using the sauna.
  • Enter and exit quickly. Saunas are airtight to keep the heat inside. Opening the door releases heat and should be done expeditiously.
  • Note the attire, wearing a towel, disposable shorts, or bathing suit is preferable.
  • Make sure to bring a towel you can sit on and take it with you when you leave.
  • Don’t stretch out if the sauna is crowded.
  • Keep in mind that you can also adjust the temperature to your personal liking.
  • Keep conversation low, and do not employ rowdy behavior. Saunas are designed for relaxation.
  • Do not shave, tweeze, brush your hair, or groom in any way while using the sauna.
  • Do not leave litter of any kind behind, such as band-aids, tissues or bobby pins.

There are important safety measures you should follow and be aware of:

  • Despite their benefits, saunas may not ben appropriate for everyone. Check with your doctor before using a sauna, especially if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, heart failure, abnormal heart rhythm, or acute infection. If you have any of these health conditions, ask your doctor for permission, and if yes, limit your sauna use to five minutes per visit and make sure to cool down slowly.
  • Check with your doctor if you’re pregnant or planning to become pregnant, before using a sauna.
  • Don’t use a sauna if you take medications that interfere with your body’s ability to regulate temperature or medications that make you drowsy.
  • Don’t use a sauna if you’re ill.
  • Drink at least one full glass of water before and after using a sauna, to avoid dehydration.
  • Don’t drink alcohol before, during, or after sauna use.
  • Don’t use recreational drugs before, during, or after sauna use.
  • Don’t eat a large meal prior to using a sauna.
  • Healthy people should not sit in a sauna for more than 10 to 15 minutes at a time. If you’re new to the sauna experience, listen to your body and start slowly (for no more than 5 to 10 minutes per session). You can build up your tolerance for the heat over multiple visits.
  • Never let yourself fall asleep in a sauna.
  • Exit the sauna if you feel dizzy or ill.
  • The Finnish sauna tradition often ends with a plunge in very cold water. This may not be appropriate for everyone, especially those with heart or other health conditions. It may be better to let your body temperature return to normal gradually after sauna use to avoid dizziness.
Saunas temporarily elevate the temperature of the scrotum. If you’re a man, this does not mean you can use the sauna as a birth control method.
  • However, regular sauna use may temporarily reduce your sperm count and should be avoided if you’re actively attempting to impregnate your partner.
  • Becoming overheated in a sauna can be dangerous to the health of the mom and the baby during pregnancy.
  • Overheating in a sauna or steam room may also be more likely while you’re pregnant. We recommend not to use it.

You should give yourself plenty of time to enjoy a traditional Finnish sauna. These are the steps that recommended you take:

  • Before you enter the sauna, drink one to two glasses of water and rinse off in a shower
  • Warm yourself in a dry sauna for up to 10 minutes.
  • Exit and rinse off in a second quick shower.
  • Allow your body to cool down by drinking something refreshing like water.
  • Re-enter the sauna for another 10 minutes or so.
  • We recommend using body scrubs before your sauna sessions to soften the skin, remove dead cells, and open the pores for better detox. Full body scrub procedure is available in our spa
  • Exit and wash your body thoroughly; cool down again with a glass of water.
  • Re-enter the sauna for your final visit of approximately 10 minutes.
  • Use a cool-to-cold shower.
  • Lie down and relax for as long as you need to.
  • Drink at least one full glass of water with a light snack.
  • Once your body feels completely cooled down and has stopped perspiring, you can dress and exit the building.
  • Stop if you don’t feel well.
  • If at any point you feel unwell, overheated, dizzy, or have a rapid heart rate that does not slow when exiting the sauna, discontinue use.

Limits and risks of steam room use

Steam rooms have many potential health benefits, but steam immersion can be harmful if you overdo it, especially if you’re new to them.

Dehydration

Staying in a steam room for more than 15 minutes can dehydrate you. Experts recommend drinking water while you’re in the sauna and directly afterward.

Bacteria and germs

Until you get the all-clear from your medical professional, avoid the steam room and sauna if you are:
  • pregnant
  • immunocompromised
  • recovering from surgery
The heat in steam rooms can also encourage further growth of viruses. If you’re ill, it’s recommended that you do not use the steam room to reduce the risk of transmitting your illness to others.

Heat-related illnesses

Steam rooms are generally safe when used with reasonable safety precautions. If you feel unwell while using the steam room, leave immediately to relieve your symptoms. Always practice good steam room hygiene by wearing flip-flops, sitting on a towel, and rinsing off with a lukewarm shower to get rid of bacteria after using the steam room. Seating on a towel here is necessary not only for etiquette but also an absolute necessity for avoiding the germs and bacteria that breed in moist heat. It’s also a good idea to wear shower shoes. How to use a steam room
  • Shower before entering a steam room as you would with a sauna. Ware disposable shorts and boob tube. Always sit on a towel
  • Limit your time in a steam room to 10 or 15 minutes.
  • You may use aroma oils or dry herbs for a better breathing detox experience.
  • Even though your skin will remain wet, you may become dehydrated in a steam room. Drink water before and after using.

Steam Room

Steam rooms are kept at around 110°F. (43°C.) Because their humidity hovers at around 100 percent, they may feel much hotter than saunas, which are kept between 150°F and 195°F (65°C to 90°C), with a humidity rate of 5 to 10 percent.

It’s not unusual to see a sauna and steam room located next to each other in a health club. Since saunas use dry heat and steam rooms use wet heat, they look and feel differently. Personal preference and your needs may determine which you enjoy most.

What are the health benefits of a steam room?

  • Reduces inflammation
Steam rooms alone cannot treat severe conditions, but researchers generally agree that thermal therapy can help reduce systemic inflammation.

Another study suggested that practices that temporarily elevate body temperature and thereby reduce inflammation may be particularly useful for individuals whose physical or cognitive limitations prevent them from exercising regularly.

Sitting in a steamy bath or steam room can help you relax. The heat of a steam room helps the body produce endorphins, the so-called feel-good hormones that help reduce stress and anxiety. A steam room session helps the body decrease cortisol, the hormone produced in response to stress. When cortisol levels drop, people feel more relaxed and rejuvenated.

It suggested that people in high-stress occupations (HSOs) (like first responders, police, business owners and act.) might reduce stress levels with sauna bathing.

The researchers found that one to two weekly sauna sessions could result in short-lasting improvements in blood pressure and arterial stiffness. Using saunas more often and over a longer period led to greater stress tolerance and increased health.

Heat-based treatments, including steam rooms, may support mental wellness by directing attention toward relaxation and away from anxiety-producing news and work-related stress.

Engaging in heat treatment activities helps to create a state of mindfulness and a focus on the breath, both of which have many psychological benefits. These may include sleep improvement, stress reduction, and mood boosts from focusing on doing something positive for yourself.

Through environmental exposure, all sorts of toxins can become trapped underneath your skin. Steam rooms help solve that problem by using heat to open your pores.

The warm condensation rinses away the dirt and dead skin that can lead to breakouts. As a result, you may have clearer and more even-toned skin.

The pain you feel after working out is called delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS). Professional athletes have known for decades that heat therapy can help them recover from training workouts.

Heat can penetrate deep into muscle tissue and help relieve DOMS. Moist heat works more quickly than dry heat in muscle recovery.

Warming up before a workout is critical in avoiding injury. Using a steam room as part of your warm-up could help you reach maximum mobility during activities.

According to the Arthritis Foundation, research has shown that heat is especially useful for limbering up stiff joints and relieving achy muscles in people with arthritis.

Warming up a sore joint or tired muscle makes blood vessels bigger, which lets more blood, oxygen, and nutrients travel to the injured tissue. This promotes the relaxation of stiff muscles and joints.

Your heart rate increases when you’re in a steam room or sauna. If you use a steam room after an aerobic workout, your heart rate is already elevated, and the steam room can prolong that elevation.

Sweating it out in the steam room isn’t a tool to lose weight quickly. Any weight you lose in the steam room is water weight, and you’ll need to replace it by drinking water to avoid dehydration.

Some people’s bodies release hormones that change their heart rate in a steam room. One of these hormones, aldosterone, regulates blood pressure.

When aldosterone is released from sitting in the steam room, it can help lower high blood pressure. This is part of why the steam room makes you feel relaxed.

The recommended package is a 10 to 15-minute steam bath once a week for 12 weeks.

There has been much discussion in medical circles about increasing life span and health span. This is the number of years you live in reasonably good health without serious acute or chronic illness.

Regular sauna bathing can delay aging effects through heat therapy’s benefits on cardiovascular and cognitive health, physical fitness, and muscle maintenance.
